Umrah T&Cs Summary

1. SIM Card Purchase: Upon your arrival at Jeddah or Madinah Airport, you are required to purchase a local SIM card for your mobile phone. This will facilitate communication during your stay. Once you have acquired your SIM, please contact the Transport Manager for further assistance. Having a local number is crucial for coordinating your transportation effectively. 

2. Booking Confirmation: It is essential to confirm your airport pickup in advance. Please call or message the Transport Manager at least one day prior to your arrival date. This applies not only to pickups from Jeddah or Madinah Airport but also to your hotel in Makkah or Madinah. Early communication helps ensure a smooth transfer upon your arrival. 

3. Emergency Contact: Should you be unable to reach the Transport Manager for any reason, please refer to the emergency contact number provided in your itinerary. This number is designated for urgent situations and will connect you to someone who can assist you promptly. 

4. WhatsApp Restrictions: Be aware that WhatsApp calls are not functional in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, we advise against using WhatsApp for any communication. Instead, rely on yourlocal SIM for making calls. 

5. Driver Communication: To ensure your safety and privacy, please refrain from exchanging personal mobile numbers with your driver during any part of your journey. All communication should occur through the designated channels provided by PiyamTravel. 

6. Mobile Phone Use: Keep your English phone switched on until you purchase a local SIM card. This is important for receiving any necessary communications from us. Upon arrival, TasHeel representatives will collect your passports for scanning and will return them to you before your departure to Makkah or Madinah. Ensure you have your passport handy when you are picked up. 

7. Transport Manager Contact: After clearing customs at the airport, you must contact the Transport Manager (contact number provided in your itinerary) while you are in the baggage hall waiting to collect your luggage. This will help facilitate your pickup without unnecessary delays. 

8. Roaming Capabilities: Your English phone will have roaming capabilities, allowing you to make local calls without needing to dial the 00966 prefix. The Transport Manager will keep you informed about your driver’s name and phone number for your convenience. 

9. Direct Communication: To avoid confusion and ensure efficiency, please only contact the relevant transport or hotel personnel for assistance. Do not reach out to others listed on your itinerary, as they may not be equipped to help with your inquiries. 

10. Scheduling: The timing for Ziyarats (visits to holy sites) and intercity pickups/drop-offs will be coordinated by the transfer operators, who have the most accurate information regarding traffic and road conditions. It’s essential to adhere to their schedule for a smoother travel experience. 

11. Traffic Regulations: Please be prepared for potential delays due to traffic regulations enforced by the police during Salah (prayer) times and peak hours in Makkah and Madinah. These regulations are in place to ensure the safety and efficiency of travel in the area. 

12. Hotel Conditions: Be informed that insect disruptions can occur in many hotels throughout Saudi Arabia. We recommend taking necessary precautions to ensure your comfort during your stay. 

13. Travel Insurance: As your travel service provider, we strongly encourage you to obtain travel insurance. While we strive to provide the best service, PiyamTravel and our representatives in Saudi Arabia cannot be held liable for loss or damage to luggage, personal belongings, or unexpected medical issues that may arise during your trip. 

14. Hotel Check-In/Out: The standard check-in time is 16:00 hours, and check-out time is 12:00 noon. Please be aware of these policies, as early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. 

15. Package Changes: Any changes you wish to make to your agreed package must be communicated to your travel agent as soon as possible. Alterations will be evaluated based on availability, and additional charges may apply depending on the nature of the changes. 

16. Cancellation Policy: Please note that automatic cancellation rights are not guaranteed unless specified by hotels prior to booking. If a hotel is unable to honor your reservation, you must inform us immediately to allow us to address the situation as quickly as possible.
